Frequently asked questions.

What is lip blushing?

Lip blushing aims to create a natural-looking, colour enhancement on the lips, making them appear fuller and more defined. It can also correct asymmetry, even out lip colour, and help restore colour loss with age or medical conditions.

What is lip neutralisation?

Lip neutralisation is designed to address and correct subdued or dark-hued lips by using colour theory to neutralise unwanted undertones. It involves applying pigments to the lips to counteract and cancel out discolouration.

How do you choose the colour?

For lip blushing, we can customise a colour to match your chosen inspiration or work with our artist to find your perfect colour.

For lip neutralisation we still recommend to bring inspiration to your appointment, however our main goal (depending how much neutralisation is needed) is to lift the darker hues of the lip.

How do I book an appointment?

We cannot wait to design your dream lips with you! To book an appointment just send a text, email or directly message us on instagram.

Is it permanent?

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure, not permanent. While it can last for several years, the pigments will eventually fade and require touch-ups. The longevity can vary based on factors like lifestyle, skin type, and aftercare.

How many sessions will i need?

Lip blushing typically requires a minimum of two sessions to achieve the desired results. The first session is the initial application, and the second is a touch-up session scheduled 6-8 weeks later to ensure the pigment is well-absorbed and to make any necessary adjustments to colour and shape. If you are a lip neutralisation client you may need a third session, especially if you have darker lip pigmentation that requires neutralisation.

WHAT IS A BROW LAMINATION?

Brow lamination is a semi-permanent beauty treatment that tames and shapes unruly or sparse eyebrows, giving them a fuller, more defined look. It's essentially a perm for your brows, similar to a lash lift, that sets them in place for an extended period. The process involves applying a setting solution to realign and fix the brow hairs, creating a polished, natural appearance that can last for several weeks.

WHAT IS BROW HYBRID DYE?

Hybrid brow dye, also known as stain hybrid dye or hybrid tint, is a type of eyebrow dye that offers a longer-lasting and more intense colour payoff than traditional brow tints, while still providing a more natural look compared to henna. It works by colouring both the brow hairs and the skin underneath, creating a fuller, more defined appearance. This makes it a popular choice for those seeking to fill in sparse areas or achieve a more sculpted look.

What is a korean lash lift?

A Korean lash lift is an advanced lash lifting technique that focuses on nourishing and gently lifting natural lashes from the root, creating a long-lasting, natural-looking curl. It differs from traditional lash lifts by using a gentler, cysteamine-based solution and often skipping the glue step, resulting in a healthier and potentially longer-lasting lift.

Can i get my brows waxed if i use retinol?

It is generally not recommended to get a brow wax while using retinol due to the increased risk of skin irritation and potential damage. Retinol thins the skin, making it more sensitive and prone to lifting or peeling when waxed.

Is brow lamination suitable for thin brows?

Yes, brow lamination can be a great option for thin or sparse brows, as it helps to create a fuller, more defined look by straightening and lifting the brow hairs. The treatment realigns the direction of hair growth, making thin brows appear thicker and more voluminous.
